FIFA 'leak' gives major hint to England World Cup team:  England's squad numbers for the 2026 World Cup appear to have been confirmed after a list was published on the FIFA website showing the shirt numbers for all 48 competing teams. They're being viewed as a significant indication of Thomas Tuchel's preferred starting XI for the tournament.

Among the notable selections, Marcus Rashford has been handed the No. 11 shirt ahead of Anthony Gordon, who has been assigned No. 18. The two players are competing for a place on the left wing this summer.

Several of England's key players have received their expected numbers. Jordan Pickford has been given the No. 1 jersey, Harry Kane will wear his familiar No. 9 shirt and Jude Bellingham has been assigned No. 10.

In midfield, Elliot Anderson is expected to partner Declan Rice. Anderson has been given the No. 8 shirt while Rice will wear No. 4.

The squad numbers are due to be officially confirmed at 3 o'clock.
