Galway United produced a stunning comeback in the SSE Airtricity League Men's Premier Division at Sullivan & Lambe Park on Monday (6th April 2026) to score a second successive victory after trailing by two early goals.
Mark Doyle and Jago Godden gave the hosts a 2-0 lead by 18 minutes before Francely Lomboto halved the deficit three minutes later. But second half goals for Kris Twardek and Axel Piesold completed a remarkable turnaround and sent Galway United up to fifth place.
