Galway got their Connacht Senior Football Championship off to a winning start on Sunday night in New York.
Padraic Joyce's side beat New York in the Quarter Final by 3-28 to 0-20 with the Galway goals coming from Matthew Tierney with two and Cian Hernon.
Galway will play Roscommon in the Connacht Semi-Final.
