Anna O'Connor (née Keady)

Anna Keady O'Connor, Killaguile, Rosscahill, Galway.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna on the 1st of May 2026, peacefully in the comfort of the kind team at An Teaghlach Uilinn Nursing Home, Moycullen, surrounded by her loving family, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her parents, Martin and Josephine,and her cousin, Anne. Dearly beloved wife of the late Patrick O'Connor, Mum to Maria, Cyril, Tony, Anita and Michael, her sons in law and daughters in law, Nana to her grandchildren Megan, Conor, Olivia, Jake, Luke, Calum, Emi, Kento, Rosie, Grace, Beth, Isaac, Noah, Mischa and Elijah and her great grandchildren Senan, Ultan, Macdara and all her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at An Teaghlach Uiliinn for the care, kindness and friendship they have shown Anna and Patsy. They would also like to thank the Haematology team and the Galway Hospice palliative care team for their support navigating this difficult time.

Reposing at Aiseirí Funeral Home, Moycullen (H91Y54A) on Monday 4th of May 2026 from 4pm to 5.30pm, followed by private cremation at Shannon crematorium on Tuesday the 5th of May, 2026.
