The death has occurred of Anthony Crowe, Brierfield, Abbeyknockmoy, Galway

Anthony passed away peacefully in his 93rd year in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice on 2nd May 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Margaret Crowe, his brothers Mattie, Mark (Madge), Fr. Paddy, Seán, Fr. Tom, his sisters Mae (Paddy Mannion), Julia (Frank Garvey), Della (Ray Connolly), Sr. Christina, Ita (Paddy Collins), his father and mother-in-law Michael and Margaret Jordan, his sister-in-law, Bríd (Seán Connolly) and Margaret Jordan (UK).

Anthony will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary and best friend of 62 years, his sons, Martin, Michael, Pat, Paul and Oliver, daughters, Mairéad (Monaghan), Teresa (Keane), their spouses Mary, Kathleen, Shay, Shane, Geraldine, Catherine and Sinéad.

Adored and fondly remembered by his cherished nineteen grandchildren Louise, Damian, Ciara, Aisling, Sinéad, Fergal, Diarmaid, Orlaith, Alannah, Aoibhínn, Luisne, Bláithín, Alisha, Matthew, Darragh, Emma, Ríonagh, Eoghan and Éadaoin, his two great-grandchildren Éala and Réaltín.

May Anthony Rest in Peace

Anthony will be deeply missed by his brothers-in-law Joe Jordan (UK), Miko Jordan and Bernadette Jordan, his many nieces and nephews whom he held so dearly, his cousins, relatives, loyal neighbours and a wide circle of many faithful friends.

Anthony will lie in repose in Mannion’s Funeral home (H54 RW94) on Tuesday 5th May from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Bernard's Church Abbeyknockmoy for prayers.

Mass for Anthony will take place on Wednesday 6th May in St. Bernard's Church Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60) at 12 noon
