The death has occurred of Eamon Carrick
On Friday, 17th July, Eamon (55 years) died very peacefully surrounded by his family in the exceptional care of the staff at Galway Hospice. Beloved son of Winnie and the late Seán. Predeceased also by his uncles Pat, Eamon, Bartley and Martin and aunties Rita and Mary.
Deeply mourned by his mother Winnie, his adored children. son Damian and daughter Alisha and her mother Sarah, sisters and brothers Sharon, Michael, Martin, Coley, Ann and Bartley. Also remembered by brothers-in-law Michael and Kieran, Alisha’s partner Cathal, by his adored grandchildren Katie and Noah, uncles Michael, Coley and David, aunties Ann, Clare, Martina and Carmel, by his much loved nephews Ronan, Colm, Nathan, Dáithi, Kian and Noah, cousins, the extended Carrick and Finnerty family, the Community Spirit Drumming and the Galway Tribe Pool, neighbours and many friends including his friends in Spiddal and his dogs Rocky and Daisy.

Monday, 20th July 2026
Eamon will lie in Repose at Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street (H91 A786), from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Removal to the Church will not take place this (Monday) evening.
Tuesday 21st July 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eamon on arrival at St. Mary's Church, Claddagh at 11 a.m. A private Committal Service will take place at Shannon Crematorium this (Tuesday) afternoon. Mass live streaming https://www.dominicanscladdagh.ie/live-webcam/

Parking is available for up to five family cars at the funeral home. A designated drop-off area is located outside the funeral home for those with mobility issues. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, in memory of Eamon to the Galway Hospice.
