Eilish passed away peacefully, in the care of the wonderful Staff of Portiuncula Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her daughter Mary Elizabeth, mother Elizabeth, father Patrick, sister Birdie Meehan and brother Paddy. Wife of JJ, cherished mother of Lillian, Cathal, Ruaidhri and Cyril and loving nanny of Éanna, Iarla, Róisín, Darragh, Grace, Aodhán and Síomha. Sadly missed by her sisters Mary O'Meara and Una O'Brien, daughters-in-law Mairéad and Aisling, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eilish will repose at Áras Mhuire in the grounds of St. Killian's Church, New Inn (H53P6CO) on Saturday, January 11th from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Arrival at St. Killian's Church for Requiem Mass on Sunday, 12th January at 1.00 pm. Burial afterwards in Grange Cemetery (opposite this eircode H53YX59). Mass will be live streamed.
House private by request. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Children's Remembrance Fund, University Hospital, Galway, a cause that was very dear to Mammy's heart.
