Irene passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Portiuncula Hospital, surrounded by her husband JJ and family. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Rosie, brother John and sister Mary.
Irene will be sadly missed by her loving husband JJ, brother Robert, sisters Noreen, Patricia and Michelle, sister-in-law Margo, niece Sarah, nephew Sean, uncle Sean and his wife Ann, aunt Mary and her husband Anthony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Irene will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Friday, the 14th of March, from 5pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe. Irene's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
