Lorna Burke, formerly Lorna McCarthy of 5 Averard East, Taylor's Hill, Galway passed away on Friday June 5th. Predeceased by her father Chaz and mother Monica.
Lorna passed away after an illness borne with dignity and courage surrounded by her loving family at St. Francis Hospice.
Much loved by her husband Frank and cherished mother to son Charlie, daughter Sallyann and daughters-in-law Hayley and Lauri. Lorna was a very proud grandmother to Harlow, Archie, Shay and Remi. Lorna will be sadly missed by her siblings Yvonne, Audrey, Noel and Ian as well as Bríd, Mary and Michael, her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, work colleagues, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58) this Sunday the 7th of June from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday the 8th of June at 2pm in church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge. Funeral Mass can be viewed on parish website http://www.clarinbridgeparish.ie Cremation to follow at Shannon Crematorium at 4pm.
