The death has occurred of Margaret Power (née Ridge), Powers Cross, Portumna, Galway
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Margaret Power share the news of her passing on 16th May 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of Portumna Retirement Village.

Predeceased by her husband Matthew (Mattie) and her sister Eileen.
Margaret will be deeply missed and remembered with love by her children Gerry, Joe, Marie and Cora, daughters-in-law Lucy and Virginia, son-in-law Rob, her niece Carmel and her precious grandchildren Sophie, Melanie, Hannah, Zoe, Ella, Rowan and Simone, members of the extended family, her neighbours and friends.

Margaret will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Monday 18th May from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral cortége will arrive at St John the Baptist Church, Woodford at 10.45am on Tuesday 19th May for Requiem Mass for Margaret at 11am. Burial will take place after Mass in the adjoining cemetery.
