The death has occurred of Mary O' Reilly (née Loughnane) of Derryfrench, Tynagh, Co Galway and formerly of Ballydugan.
Mary passed away peacefully on the 9th of May 2026, in her 94th year, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary spent her final days in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of the Galway Hospice.
Predeceased by her husband Eamonn, brothers Tom and Brendan.
Mary will be forever loved and sadly missed by her sons Eddie, Gabriel, Brendan and Noel, daughters-in-law Martina and Catherine, grandchildren Aileen, Emer, Gráinne, Melissa, Jasmine, Ailish and Damian, brothers Frank and Peter, sisters Anne (Pierce), Kathleen (Sr Lucy) and Dympna (McClearn), great grandchildren Grace, Kate, Tommy, Emmie and Jack, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Mary will repose in St Ignatius Funeral Home, Duniry (H62 WY82) on Monday, the 11th of May 2026, from 5-8 pm.
Funeral Mass for Mary O' Reilly on Tuesday, the 12th of May 2026 at 12 Noon in St Laurence's Church, Tynagh.
Burial immediately afterwards in Lisheen cemetery.
House private on Tuesday morning.
Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
