Who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday 18th of July 2026, in his 80th year.
Predeceased by his parents Kitty and Thomas, sisters Kathleen and Mary, brother Ted, nieces Rita and Emer and nephews Damien and David.
Cherished husband and best friend to his wife Breda, much loved father to Tomás and Anita.
Michael will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by son-in-law Paul, grandchildren Amy and Craig (Griffin), Quillan, Flynn and Odhran (Costello), their mother Suzanne, brother Tommy, sister Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
Michael will lie in repose in his daughter Anita’s house (H62 AR24) on Monday 20th of July from 4pm to 7pm.
Michael’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea, on Tuesday 21st of July at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.
