It is with great sadness we share the news that Michael died peacefully on the 26th of October in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice and surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his wife Carmel (née Mullooly), Strokestown, family Jarlath and Avril, Michelle and Ewan, and Coman, his grandchildren Grace, Jack and Tom, his loving sisters Sr. Mary and Carmel Harkin (Corrandulla), his nephews and nieces, Carmel's Family, relatives, neighbours, friends and past colleagues. Pre- deceased by his father and mother, Andrew and Nora, his brother Joe, his sister-in-law Kitty and his brother-in-law Conal Harkin.

Reposing at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel (H91HN83) on Saturday the 28th of October from 3.30pm removal at 5.30pm to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass on Sunday 29th of October in St. Brendan's Church (H91HN83) Corrandulla at 12.30pm, burial afterwards in Corrandulla Cemetery. Mass will be live-streamed at www.churchtv.ie/corrandulla and broadcast on parish Radio.
