On Tuesday, 16th June 2026 Saoirse passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Hospice. Loving mother to Warren, Amy and Tadhg, adoring grandmother to Clara and Cian, cherished daughter to June, Peter and stepmother Evelyn. Saoirse will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by her sister Shalome, nephews Jake and Daróg, aunts Sheila and Deirdre, uncle Adrian, cousins Jane, John, David, Paul, Tessa and Louise, extended family and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Sunday, 21st June 2026
Saoirse will lie in Repose at the Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
Monday 22nd June 2026
A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Saoirse on arrival at the St. Nicholas Church, Collegiate Church, Lombard Street, Galway (H91 PY20) at 2pm.
Tuesday 23rd June 2026
A Private Committal Service will take place at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.
Family flowers only please.
