The death has occurred of Alfred Liam Doherty

Caheroyan Park, Athenry, Galway

Alfred Liam Doherty, retired Garda Sergeant, 10 Caheroyan Park, Athenry, Co Galway, H65 R684.

Liam passed away peacefully on November 25th, surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Nancy, sons Seamus and Aidan, daughters Paula, Anna and Orla, sons in-law Sean, Willie and Gerry, daughters in-law Josephine and Caitriona, his 14 grandchildren and their partners, his 3 great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (H65 R684) on Thursday 27th November between 5pm and 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Friday 28th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to Parish radio 106.5fm. Family flowers only by request.
