The death has occurred of Alph Cooney of Bushypark, Borrisokane, Co Tipperary and formerly of Kiltullagh, Co Galway.
Peacefully on October 15 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Adored husband and best friend of Gwen.
Deeply missed by his sister Anne (Shaughnessy), his brother Seán, and by his brothers and sisters-in-law Carmel, Marie, Martin, Oliver, Breda and Seán’s partner Mary.
Adored by his many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Pre-deceased by his parents Dominick and Kathleen, his brothers Martin and Paddy, his sisters Maisie, Chrissie and Ena.
Alph will be lovingly remembered by his family, his many dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Borrisokane on Saturday, October 18 from 5pm-7pm.
Requiem Mass on Sunday October 19 at 10.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
