The death has occurred of Anne (Nancy) Broderick Née Cotter.
“Villa Maria”, Bride Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway
and formerly Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry.
Who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 26th August 2025, in the exceptional care of the staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
Predeceased by her husband Jim and son Seamus.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her adoring son Noel, brother Tadhg (Kerry), sisters Margaret O’Móráin (Galway) and Maureen Lane (Limerick), sisters-in-law Anne and Nuala, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Nancy will lie in Repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home (H62 KF63) on Thursday 28th August from 5.30pm – 7pm, followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea.
Nancy’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea on Friday 29th August at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
