The death has occurred of Barbara Mannion (née Ridge)

Dooneen, Clifden, Galway, H71WK79

She passed away peacefully at her home in Dooneen in her 95th year surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Marty, her loving son Tom and her only sibling Mary Scanlon.

She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children JJ, Marion, Eileen, Martin V and Breda, her daughters-in-law Ann and Catriona, son-in-law Brian, her cherished grandchildren Ria, Ellen, Martin Thomas, Martin James, Helen, John, James, Laragh and Tom, her great-grandchildren Isla, Amelie and Tadhg, her niece and nephews together with her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, always focused on the well being of others.

Her kindness, generosity and commitment to others will be long remembered.

May her kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at her home in Dooneen, Clifden on Tuesday the 28th of April from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday the 29 th of April to St. Joseph's Church arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by internment in Ardbear Cemetery, Clifden.

 

House private on Wednesday morning the 29th of April.

Traffic and access arrangements on Tuesday the 28th of April to Dooneen for those who need it are as follows:

 

Parking facilities will be available at Connemara Rugby Club grounds (H71TW67) between 2pm until 8pm . A shuttle bus will operate between those hours to and from The Rugby club to Barbara's home in Dooneen. This is so as to ensure ease of access to all. There will also be pedestrian access from Dooneen bridge .
