The death has occurred of Bernadette, also known as, Bernie Wallace née Moran, Fursey Road, Shantalla and late of Brampton Care Home, Oranmore.
Bernie passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Tony and much loved mother of Susan and Orla.
Predeceased by her brothers Wilfred and Patsy, her recently deceased sister Marie and son-in-law Mark. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters, son-in-law Pat, sisters Gretta, Carmel and Ina, nieces, nephews, the extended Wallace and Moran family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arrangements:
Friday 2nd January, 2026 : Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road.
Saturday 3rd January, 2026 : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bernie at 10.00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest with her husband in Rahoon cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of Bernie to the Irish Wheelchair Association.

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, on Henry Street and Sea Road. Parking may be scarce on Munster Avenue.
Car Parks within walking distance of the parlour : The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station
