The death has occurred of Bernard Prendergast
Bernard Prendergast, Coldwood, Craughwell, Co. Galway and formerly of Kealfoun, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. October 2nd, 2025.
Bernie passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of Colette, much loved father of daughters Colette, Therese, Margaret, Bernadette and Michele, sons Alan, Thomas and Iain. Bernie will be very sadly missed by his sons-in-law Pat (Waldron) and Damian (Kerins) and daughters-in-law Alana and Suzanne. Bernie was a very proud grandad to Ciara, Brian, Patrick, Conor, Sorcha, Niamh, Tom, David, Mark, Deaglan, Aoife, Shane and Evan. He will be deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Quinn's Funeral Home , Athenry this Friday the 3rd of October from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65N294). Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday the 4th of October in Church of the Assumption, Athenry. Burial afterwards in Fews Cemetery, Kilmacthomas. Family flowers only.
