The death has occurred of Breda Laheen (née Nolan)
It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of our beautiful Mam, Breda Laheen on March 5th 2026, of Banogues, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, County Galway, formally of Drealistown, Ballycullane, New Ross, County Wexford.
Breda passed away peacefully from this life after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff of the Dunlo Ward, Portiuncula Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-Deceased by her husband Paddy Joe (1976), her parents William and Mai Nolan, her brothers Willie and John and sisters Mary and Cathy, mourned by her brother Jimmy and sister Betty.
Breda will be greatly mourned and forever remembered by her heartbroken family, her sons Martin (Niamh), Gary (Majella), Oliver (Fiona), her daughters Angela (Raymond Moore), Caroline (Fergal Mannion), Siobhan (Willie Day), Tracey (Gerry McDonagh), her twenty one grandchildren - Oisin & Iarlaith, Bronagh & Aoibhinn, Gareth, Shauna, Cathal, Diarmuid & Meadhbhin, Billy, Molly, Katie, Conor, Ruth, Fionnan & Ruairi, Oliver Jnr, Ross & Daisy, Saoirse & Dearbhla and her nieces and nephews and all relations in Wexford.

Reposing at the Franciscan College Oratory, Mountbellew (H53 WE00) on Saturday 7th March from 5pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Sunday, March 8th in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Ballymacward at 12 Noon, followed by burial in Aughiart Cemetery, Mountbellew.
