The death has occurred of Brian Matthew Spring, Baile an Domhnalláin, Spiddal, Galway / Sallins, Kildare

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 25 th June 2025, after a long illness borne with grace and dignity, in the compassionate care of the team at Galway Hospice.

Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife Ann (née Burnell), his son Michael and daughter-in-law Lisa. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Barry, Donal, Damian, Declan, Shane, sister Mary, their partners, his nieces and nephews, extended family, his many friends and his colleagues in the teaching profession.

May our beloved Brian rest in peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Friday June 27 th 2025
Reposing at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna from
5.00 pm - 6.30 pm.

Saturday June 28 th 2025
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Brian at 1.30 pm in Cill Éinde church, Spiddal and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Coilleach cemetery. The funeral Mass can be viewed on the Church webcam https://www.churchtv.ie/spiddal/
