The death has occurred of Bridget Flaherty, Palace Fields, Tullinadaly Road, Tuam, Co Galway and formerly of Rusheens, Tuam and New York, USA in her 94th year.
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of St. Gerard’s ward in Galway University Hospital on the 24th of May, 2025.
Predeceased by her parents Martin & Nora Flaherty, her siblings Nonie and Pat in their youth,her sisters Mary Cronin and Margaret Joyce, her brother Joe, her sister-in-law Mary Flaherty. and brother-in-law John Cronin,
Bridget Will be sadly missed by her brother Paddy, sister in law Maureen Flaherty (Rusheens), brother in law Jackie Joyce (Turloughmore). Fondly remembered by nephews Martin, Daniel, Bill, Gerry, Josie, Martin and Timmy, nieces Helen, Pauline, Geraldine, Breege and Margaret, special cousin Mary, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at St.Colmans Room adjoining St.Colmans Church, Corofin (H54X768) on Monday evening from 5-30pm followed by removal at 7pm to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54WP66)
Funeral Mass for Bridget Flaherty on Tuesday at 11-30pm in the Cathedral of the Assumption , Tuam. followed by burial in Cummer Cemetery
