The death has occurred of Bridie Curley, Tooloobaun, Kiltulla, Athenry.
Bridie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at home, in their wonderful care, on Friday 28th of November, 2025.
Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy, parents Michael & Mary Allen, her sister Mary Ann Coyne, her brothers Richard, John and Patrick, son-in-law Gerry (Jeffers), great-grandson Odhran.
Bridie will be greatly missed by her children Mick, Stephen, Marian, Kevin, Helen, Teresa, Breda, Kitty, Christina, Carmel, Paidge and Alan, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Kathy, Leesha, Adge, Pat, Walter, John, Carl, Annette and Breda Coen (Kevin’s partner).
Bridie will be missed by her much loved brother Anthony Allen (Boston U.S.A.), grandchildren Gary, Patrick, Niall, Niamh, Ciaran, Enda, Laura, Jonathan, Regina, Maeve, Kate, Amy, Stephen, Róisín, Serena, Vanessa, Stephanie, Christopher, Erica, Barry, Jack, Therese, Paddy, Rachelle, Darren, Colin, Tara and Patrick, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
Bridie will lie in repose in Kilboys Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Sunday 30th of November from 3 – 5pm.
Bridie’s funeral cortege will arrive to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilconieron, for Requiem Mass on Monday 1st of December at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilconieron local Cemetery.
