Ruane. Bridie. (nee Conneely). Caherlissakill, Monivea, Athenry, Co. Galway. July 16th. 2026.
Bridie, formerly of Turlicar, Monivea passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Mary, her infant sister, Mary, nephew Michael Fahy and brother in law Pat Ruane.
Sadly missed by her beloved husband Michael, her children Keith (Collette), Fiona (Declan), Declan, Patricia (David), Gerard (Paula), Stephen (Maria), Niamh (Damien) and Marion, her brothers Micheal, Tom, Paddy and Sean, her sisters Mary (Fahy) and Phil (Moore), her 15 adored grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
May Bridie’s gentle Soul Rest in Peace.Reposing at the Sacred Heart Room at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ryehill, Monivea (H65 YE18) on Sunday 19th July 2026, from 5–8 pm. Private removal from her residence on Monday 20th July 2026 for Requiem Mass at 1 o’clock at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ryehill, Monivea with Burial afterwards in Tobar Padraig Cemetery.
House private on Monday morning please. Family Flowers only and Donations if desired to Galway Hospice
