Catherine (Kitty) Dunne (née Hession)

Catherine (Kitty) Dunne, Fairfield, Aughrim, Ballinasloe on 12th May 2026, under the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, peacefully and surrounded by her loving family. Previously cared for by the staff at Hillside Nursing Home, Aughrim. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas, her son-in-law George, her siblings James, John, Mary and Chrissie. Deeply regretted by her sons Seán, Peter and Michael, her daughters Mary and Carmel, daughters-in-law Ann and Anne, grandchildren Laura, Amy, Niall, Alan, Conor and Alannah, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Kitty will repose in St. Catherine’s Community Hall, Aughrim (H53 D9F4) on Thursday 14th May from 5.30pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine’s Church, Aughrim on Friday at 12 noon which may be viewed online here. Burial afterwards in Aughrim New Cemetery.

House private by request. Family flowers only.
