It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Celia’s death on Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026. A lovely lady who was much loved by her late husband Frank and family. Predeceased also by her sister Máire, brother Padraic and by her parents Colm and Nora.

Celia is mourned and sadly missed by, her son Seán and daughter Fiona, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren Ava (Barna), Rory, Finn and Saoirse Griffiths and their father Richard (Australia), brothers Tom and Colm and sisters-in-law Jude and Ann. Fondly remembered by the extended Conlon and Beatty family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Friday 6th March 2026: Celia will lie in Repose at her home in Clochscoltia (H91NND8) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. There will be no Removal to Barna Church this (Friday) evening.

Saturday 7th March, 2026

Removal from her home at 12.30 p.m. to arrive at Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna H91 A2T7 (Teampall Mhuire Banríon gan Smál) in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 1 p.m. Link. https:/www.churchtv.ie/barna/ – and on local radio 106.6fm. Following Mass Celia will be laid to rest with Frank in Furbo cemetery.
