The death has occurred of Charlie Mulligan, Salthill, Galway / Belfast, Antrim,

Formerly of Hannahstown, Belfast.

Charlie passed away peacefully at home side by side with his beloved wife, Vera. Dearly loved and deeply missed father of Donna, Catherine and Mikey.

Deeply mourned and missed by his wife and children, sons-in-law Barry and Des, his daughter-in-law Roisin, his adored grandchildren Caoirse, Aoibhe, Ciara, Daragh, Barry, Seán and Seamus.

Sadly, missed also by his brother Stephen and sisters Rose and Marie, nieces and nephews, and the extended Mulligan and Nelson families. Predeceased by his brothers Felix and Tom. Charlie will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Sunday, 29th March 2026

Charlie will lie in repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 3.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, 30th March 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Charlie at 11 a.m. on arrival at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road.

Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
