The death has occurred of Christina Turley (née Gartland)
Formerly of Inchagoill Road, Newcastle, Galway and Raharney, Co. Westmeath.
On Monday, 17th November 2025 Christina completed her life’s journey peacefully at home surrounded by her dearly loved family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick (Pat) and by her parents Ellen and John and siblings May and Nuala and Mattie and Seán.
Deeply loved and mourned by her children Caroline, Kay, Thomas, Charlie, Christine and Patricia. Sadly missed also by her brother Des, sons-in-law Martin, David and Bernard and daughter-in-law Eimear. Christina was exceptionally proud of her grandchildren Graham, Jamie, Michelle, Lauren and Scott, Lydia, Odhran, Dylan and Cian, Emma, Ciara and Eoin and was thrilled to welcome three great granddaughters Ella, Elodie and Lillie.Fondly remembered by all and by the extended Turley and Gartland family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. No Removal to the Church this evening.
Thursday, 20th November 2025.
Arriving at St. John the Apostle, Church, Knocknacarra in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 12 noon. Following Mass, Christina will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery, with her beloved Pat. Mass will be live streamed.

Parking & Entrance to the funeral parlour - Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within Claddagh, Henry Street and Sea Road. Parking maybe scarce on Munster Avenue.
Car Parks within walking distance: Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
