The death has occurred of Christy Dillon, Monaveen, Woodlawn, Ballinasloe, Galway

Christy passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Galway Hospice in his 93rd year surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Mary, son Pat, brothers Sean and Tom, sister Mary.

Sadly missed and cherished by his sons Liam, Tom and Ciaran, daughter Helen, daughter’s in-law Dymphna, Maria, Marion and Linda, son in law Frank, his adored grandchildren James, Lucy, Elizabeth, Cathal, Kate, Megan, Aisling, George, Rachel, Emily, Lauren, Elle and Keira, brother in-law Pat, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Christy's gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Áras Mhuire in the grounds of St. Killian’s Church, New Inn, (Eir Code H53 P6C0) on Sunday, 7th of December from 5pm to 7pm with removal afterwards to the Sacred Heart Church Kilconnell. Requiem Mass on Monday, 8th of December for Christy at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilconnell new cemetery.Family Flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

House private on Saturday.
