The death has occurred of Dave Egan
Formerly of Ballybrit, Castlegar.
On the 10th of September 2025, Dave passed away very peacefully in the wonderful care of The Galway Hospice Staff, with his loving family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents David and Kathleen, sister Maureen, brothers Paddy, Gabriel, John Joe and Louis.
Beloved husband of Eithne. Will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters Carmel (Galway), Deirdre (London), Fiona (Galway), Siobhán (Glasgow), son David (Chicago), brother Thomas, sons-in-law Pat (Jnr.), and Nigel, daughter-in-law Brittany, his cherished grandchildren Owen, Leanne, Jay and Ella, Milly and Ben, Keeeva, Freya and Liam, Ciarán, David, Caitríona and their father Joe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home Mervue (H91 FH52), on Friday 12th September 2025 from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. Dave's Requiem Mass will take place in The Church of The Holy Family, Mervue, on Saturday 13th September 2025 at 11:00am. Dave will then be laid to rest in Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
