The death has occurred of Donal (Daniel) Ryan
Donal (Daniel) Ryan, Hawthorns, Summerhill, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, late of Sarsfield Street and formerly of Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co. Galway, (ex Garda Síochána), passed away peacefully, at Nenagh Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family, on 11th July 2026, in his 87th year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Ella, his parents Dan and Tessie, brother Paddy, sister Mary and his daughter-in-law Orla Hogan Ryan.
Loving father of Caitriona (Gleeson), Gerard and James.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his sister Bridget (O' Dowd),son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Sandra, his adored grandchildren Oisín, Aoife, Sinéad and Cian, Oisín's partner Eva, Aoife's partner Leo, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing on Tuesday July 14th at Ryan's Funeral Home Nenagh (E45 KN93), from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral arriving on Wednesday to St. Mary of the Rosary Church Nenagh (E45 YH29), for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Nenagh Manor Nursing Home for the excellent care and attention that Donal received , also the staff of University Hospital Limerick and Nenagh Hospital and his previous home carers.
