The death has occurred of Dr. Diarmuid Sean (Gerry) Comer
In the early hours of Wednesday 10th June 2026, Gerry slipped away peacefully at Rushmore Nursing Home.
Pre-deceased by his brother, six sisters and his adored granddaughter Lisa.
Dearly loved and very sadly missed by his devoted wife of 64 years Patricia, sons and daughters John, Geraldine, David, Richard, Carolyn and Diarmuid, sons-in-law John Keogh and Michael Foster, and daughters-in-law Maria, Adrienne, Olwyn and Sarah.
Fondly remembered also by his adored grandchildren, the extended Comer family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements:
Sunday, 14th June : Gerry will repose at his home at 38 Dún Na Carraige, Salthill (H91 N6PR) from 4:30pm. - 7:00pm.
Monday, 15th June : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Gerry at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on arrival at 11am. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
