Eileen Mulry (née Flynn)

Formerly Middle Street, Galway.

Eileen passed away in the care of the wonderful staff of Brampton Care Home, Oranmore, on 24th May, 2026.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, her brother Joe Flynn, parents Lizzie Flynn (Née Quirke) and John Flynn late of Middle Street, Galway.

Eileen is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her children Elizabeth and John; son-in-law Aidan Whelan, daughter-in-law Jessica Thompson; her adored grandchildren Ellie, Teddy and Genie, sisters-in-law Maura Flynn and Yvonne Gill, brothers-in-law Alan and Tony Mulry, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral Arrangements:

Wednesday 27th May, 2026

Eileen will lie in Repose at the Church of the Holy Family, Funeral Parlour, Mervue (H91 FH52) from 5 p.m. with Removal to the adjoining Church at 6.30 p.m.

Entrance to the Funeral Parlour is through the Main Church Door and the exit is at car park level where you will also find access for wheelchairs and those with mobility issues.

Thursday 28th May, 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eileen at 11.00 a.m.

Private cremation to follow.

To mark Eileen's life which was filled with love and colour, those attending the Mass are invited to wear bright colours on the day.
