Emily passed peacefully from this life in her 100th year, on Wednesday June 3rd, in the loving care of Portumna Retirement Village.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas, her sisters May, Beesie, Carmel and Phyllis and her brother Connie, Emily will be deeply missed by her sons Joe and Tom, her daughters in law Anne and Elaine, her grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Aedan, Marc, Sarah and Sofie , Sarah and Sofie's mum Linda, her great grandchildren Harlow and Millie, her grand-sons-in-law Christopher and Jonathan, her brother Raymond and sister-in-law Pat, her nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Emily will repose in Dignity Funeral Care funeral home (H53 AY18) on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village, Saint Brendan’s Road, Portumna, Saturday June 6th from 4pm to 6pm. The funeral cortége will arrive to St. Lawrence’s Church, Tynagh, on Sunday 7th June at 10:45. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Emily’s soul at 11oc. For those unable to attend the funeral Mass, it will be live streamed on the following link
The funeral will continue to Kilcorban Cemetery after Mass, where Emily will be laid to rest beside her beloved Thomas.
