The death has occurred of Ethel Balfe, Newcastle, Galway / Claremorris, Mayo
Late of Convent Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
Ethel, died unexpectedly at University Hospital, Galway. She is predeceased by her parents May and John Balfe, her brothers Eamonn and Seanie and by her sister Maura.
Sadly missed by her sisters Anne and Noreen, her brother Liam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and all her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and many dear friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Thursday, August 7, 2025 - Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Friday, August 8, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Ethel on arrival at St. James’ Church, Bushy Park at 11 a.m. Following Mass, Ethel will be laid to rest in her beloved Mayo with her relatives in St. Colman's Cemetery, Claremorris. Live-streaming is not available in St. James' Church.
