The death has occurred of Gary Higgins, Cloon, Claregalway, Galway / Menlo, Galway

It is with deep sadness that his family announce the death of Gary, suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 6 July 2025.

Deeply mourned and forever missed by his heartbroken family; Jack, Mikey, Gary, Ellen, David and Laura, his brothers Peter, Padraig and Micheál and sisters Carmel, Breegeann, Jacinta, Edel and Maura.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered also by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins, all of the extended Higgins and Connell families, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Sioraiocht within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91 XH02) from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with Removal after to the Church.

Thursday 10 July 2025

Requiem Mass will take place for Gary at 11 a.m. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Castlelawn Cemetery.

House private please. Family flowers only.

Donations, if desired, can be made in memory of Gary to Down Syndrome Ireland.
