It is so sad to hear of George's passing. George's was so helpful to me when hi took the Job as Galway United FC player Manager. He was such a great help to me and my assistant manager. He was everything within the dressing room, in 1991 we didn't have a physio, a stats analyst a strength and condition coach, a kit man, George had to step into many of those tasks and did them without complaint our players and myself owe so much to him with regards to our successful run and winning the FAI Cup in the only time in the Galway United FC history, George played a huge part in making that happy and I want his family to be so proud of the part he played. I thank you George may you rest in peace.
