Geraldine McDonnell (née McHugh)

Geraldine passed peacefully from this life on 22nd July 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of the Galway Clinic and surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved daughter Fiona.

Geraldine will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Michael, her children Siobhan, Elaine and Patrick, sons-in-law Gary and Ciarán, daughter-in-law Gráinne and her cherished grandchildren Fiona, Tom, Lucy, Aoibheann, Fionn, Tadhg, Darragh, Oisín, Cian and Gearóid, her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Geraldine will be repose at her residence (H53 FY94) on Friday 24th of July from 5pm to 8pm.

Funeral cortége will arrive at St Killians Church, New Inn at 10.45am for Requiem Mass for Geraldine at 11am on Saturday 25th July.

Burial will take place after Mass in Killaan cemetery, New Inn.
