The death has occurred of Geraldine Monaghan (née Cronin)
Geraldine passed away unexpectedly on 17th May 2026 at University Hospital of the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, Tenerife, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Timmy, dearest mother of Lorna and Brian, sister of Daithi, Jacqui, Derek, Laverne, Paul, mother-in-law to Tommy and Michelle and adoring Nana to Méabh and Iarlaith.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, son, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Geraldine will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 KX34) on Monday evening from 6.00 o’c until 8 o’c. Followed by removal to her home. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 o’c (noon) in St Cuana Church (Corner Chapel H91 V9F7), Kilcoona. Burial afterwards in Donaghpatrick Cemetery.
