The death has occurred of Helen O’Byrne (née Foley)
On Tuesday evening, 18th November, 2025 Helen died peacefully at home in her 90th year with family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Enda and infant son Barry. Much loved mother of Darina McAlpine, Emer Whyte, Brían, Niamh Fitzgerald and Olwen Cockell.
Helen will be greatly missed by her daughters and son and by her 12 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Josephine Schuster, sons-in-law Seán, Kieran, Eric and Jason, brother Barry and his wife Mary in Dublin, brother-in-law Dr. Tim Jackson in Cork, sisters-in-law Bernie Foley in Glasnevin and Maura and Brid Foley in Galway, nephews and nieces, by her carers- Mary Rose Concannon, Mary Dempsey and Samantha Mc Caul and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Friday, November 21st, 2025
Helen will Repose at 'St. Pio's Room within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road (H91 E781) from 5 p.m. Removal into the Church at 6.30 p.m. House Private.
Saturday, November 22nd, 2025
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Helen at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore.
