The death has occurred of Imelda Keane (née Coen)
Keane (nee Coen). Imelda, Chapel Road, Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, County Galway, 1st May. 2026. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of St Anthony’s Ward, University Hospital, Galway.
Predeceased by her husband, Peadar, parents Pat and Kate, brothers John, Francis, John Anthony, Patrick, Gerald, Michael, Bernard and sister Mary, daughter in law Agnes and son in law Sean.
Deeply regretted by her sons and daughters, Joe, Mary, Martin, Padraic, Noel, Caroline, Gerard and Deirdre, grandchildren, great grandchildren sons in law, daughters in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Imelda will repose in Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 RW94) on Monday 4th May 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with removal afterwards to St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60). Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday 5th May 2026 in St Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60).at 12 noon, Imelda will be laid to rest afterwards in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.
