Pre-deceased by his parents Pat and May, brothers John Joe, Michael, Paddy, Tom, Paul and sister Mary.
James will be deeply mourned by all his loving family, beloved husband and best friend of Mary and adored father of Marie, Linda, Claire, James and Aiden. Fondly remembered by his sons-in-law Colin and Colum, daughters-in-law Nollaig and Martha, grandchildren Lisa, David, Caoilainn, Cian, Ethan, Alicia, Kara, Oisin, Aisling, Caoimhe, Niamh, Tadgh, Sean, Eva, Luan, Alice and by his great-grand daughter Grace. James will be sadly missed by his brothers Richard (U.K), Willie (Clonbur), sister Julie Ann (Headford), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, by his extended family, great neighbours and many friends.629568

James will lie in repose at St. Colman’s Church Tiernevan, Gort (H91 K5W0), on Sunday the 7th of September from 4pm until 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday September 8th at 12 noon. Following mass James will be laid to rest in Kilmacduagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Western Alzheimer’s.

The family would like to thank all who cared for James over the years especially Dr. Piggott and all his staff and all the wonderful staff in St. Anthony’s ward U.H.G for taking care of James in his final days.
