The death has occurred of Joe Naughton
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Joe Naughton, Ballinlass, Mountbellew, Co. Galway.
Peacefully at his home on 25th February 2026 in his 92nd year surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Bridie (2018), his parents John and Bridget, infant brother Joe, brother Gerry, his granddaughter Emma and his infant great-grandson Danny.
Joe will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family.
His daughters Mary (Finnerty), Ann (Conroy), Bernie (Devaney), Francella (London), Josephine (Shaughnessy), Veronica (Farrell), Rita (New York), Chrissie (Heslin), Claire, Pauline (Naughton/Heavey), Valerie (Flanagan), his sons John, Michael, Pat and Martin, his 29 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, his sister Philomena (Birmingham), his brother Frank (London), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Joe will repose in the Franciscan Monastery Oratory, Mountbellew, (H53WE00) this Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock.
Removal from his home on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Mountbellew for requiem Mass for Joe Naughton at 11 o’clock.
Joe will be laid to rest afterwards in Killyan Cemetery, Newbridge.
