The death has occurred of John Francis (Johnny) Carty
John Francis (Johnny) Carty, Raford, Kiltullagh, Athenry, Co Galway.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Galway Clinic, on the 5th of July, 2026.
Predeceased by his loving wife Deirdre (March 2024), his parents James and Bridget, sisters Mai Murphy (USA), Ann Dervan (Loughrea) and his grandson Jordan.
Father and best friends of Gerard, Paul, Liam, Cathal, Desmond and Fiona. Sadly missed by his sister Peggy, daughters in-law Louise, Carmel, Maura, Edel and Annemarie, son in-law Damien, his 12 adored grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (H65N525) on Tuesday the 7th of July from 4pm to 7pm. Arriving to St. Peters & Paul's Church, Kiltullagh (H65KC89) on Wednesday the 8th of July for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.
Cremation to follow at Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30) at 3pm. Mass will be live streamed on https://funeralslive.ie/johnny-carty/.
