The death has occurred of John (Stanley) Maybin

Laraghmore, Ballyglunin, Galway / Antrim

John (Stanley) Maybin, Laraghmore, Ballyglunin, Co. Galway and formerly of Kilwaughter, Co. Antrim. July 8th, 2026.

Stanley passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, in the tender care of the staff at Brooklodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy. Stanley will be sadly missed by his son Neill and daughter Caroline, cherished grandchildren, brother Louis (Melbourne), son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Stanley will repose at his home (H54 YH96) on Friday 10th of July from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass in Church of Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91 HW58) on Saturday the 11th of July at 2.30pm. Funeral Mass can be viewed on parish website http://www.clarinbridgeparish.ie Burial afterwards in local cemetery.
