The death has occurred of Josephine O'Halloran (née Garvey)
Formerly Emmet Avenue, Mervue
On Sunday 26th April, Josephine passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted and loving family after a long and courageous battle with Breast cancer. She faced every challenge with immense strength, dignity and grace, and her bravery was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Beloved and cherished wife of Martin and much loved mother of Daniel, Marian, Annie and Sarah. Devoted mother-in-law to Andrew and Caroline and proud and adoring grandmother to her four precious grandchildren Esmé, Ailbhe, Mikey and Danny, who brought her endless joy.
Predeceased by her beloved parents, Mary and Tom, her brothers Gerry and Tommy and her sister Margaret. She will be deeply missed by her loving sister Anne, brothers Shay and Sean, the extended O' Halloran and Garvey family, neighbours and many wonderful friends.
Her warmth, kindness and unwavering love will remain with us always. Josephine leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength that will never be forgotten.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace

Tuesday 28th April, 2026
Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral Parlour, Mervue from 5.00 p.m. with Removal into the adjoining Church at 6.30 p.m.
Wednesday 29th April, 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Josephine at 11.00 a.m.
Private cremation to follow.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of Josephine to the Irish Cancer Society.
