The death has occurred of Kathleen Coyne née McNamara Castle Park, Ballybane and formerly of Kildare Town, County Kildare.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Kathleen, who fell asleep on the 1st of January 2026, in the loving care of Brampton Care Home, Oranmore, Co. Galway.

Predeceased and reunited with her husband Pat, grandson Daniel, great-granddaughter Aurora, parents Julia and Patrick McNamara, brothers Christy, Patrick and Vinnie and sisters Betty and Breda.

Kathleen will be sorely missed by her devoted family - sons Philip and Ciarán, daughters Debbie, Tricia and Leanne, daughters-in-law Annamarie, Carla and Paula, grandsons Shane, Dylan, Aidan and Philip, granddaughters Abbie, Leah, Ailidh, Allison and Saoirse, great-grandchildren Keegan, Robyn, Sofia and Arabella, sisters Marina, Ario, Phyllis and Sheila, sisters-in-law Mary and Bernie (and her husband Pete), extended members of the Coyle and McNamara families, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue (H91 FH52), on Monday the 5th of January from 5:00pm followed by removal at 6:30pm to the adjoining church. Kathleen's Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday the 6th of January at 11:00am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore (H91 V97C).
