The death has occurred of Ken (Kenneth) Kelly, Woodview, The Pines, Ballinasloe, Galway

Ken passed away peacefully, after a short illness at University College Hospital Galway with his loving family by his side and in the tender care of the kind staff of UCHG.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary.He will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by his brothers Michael and Brendan, his sister Marian, his partner Marie, his sisters-in-law Geraldine and Mary, his nephews Mark, Alan, Shane and Colum, his niece Orla, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

A true gentleman Ken will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

May His Kind And Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Ken will repose in Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Monday the 8th of September from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Tuesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.

Rest in peace Ken. We had some great golfing days (and nights) with the Journalists Interprovincials. Happy Days of Golf and sing songs. You were an excellent colleague working with the news and sports departments. You will be a sad ly missed by all. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
