The death has occured of
Maeve Mitchell (Nee Murray)
Ballinapark, Ballyglunin, Tuam, Co. Galway and formally of Castlepark, Ballinasloe.
Maeve passed away peacefully, in her 91st year on the 11th June, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, and in the excellent care of the staff of Maryfield Nursing home, Athenry.
Predeceased by her husband Frank, daughter Martina, her sister Anne Thompson (uk/ Kilkerrin), her brothers Seamus, Padraic and Basil Murray
Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter Annette, sister Lily (Michael Carrick), nieces (Mandy, Shelagh, Marie, Paula and Margaret) and Nephews (Derek, John, Noel and PJ) and extended members of the Murray and Mitchell families, neighbours and dear friends.
Funeral Arrangments
Saturday 13th June 2026
Reposing at Burns Funeral Home,(H54X304) Tuam on Saturday evening from 6pm to 8pm followed by Removal to St. Marys Church, Killererin. (H54WY44)
Sunday 14th June 2026
Requiem Mass for Maeve Mitchell on Sunday at 11-30am in St. Marys Church, Killererin, followed by Burial in Kilmoylan Cemetery.
Family Flowers only.
